  • Call meeting to order
  • Disciplinary
    • 1 year ban from POSA facilities - Parent that offended only
    • Name Redacted on 1 year ban as of this winter basketball season
    • Name Redacted can come back this spring.  Need to have an understanding of expectations. Offense again back to ban.
    • Need to look at a policy to put in place.
  • Little League Safety Plan submitted
  • Meet the team night baseball/soccer - coaches meeting to be before  
    • Baseball/Softball March 31st 6pm High School
    • Soccer April 14th 14 6pm High School
      • Field use forms to be filled out

Vice President: Michael Nice

  • Baseball and Softball Equipment - need bats, balls for baseball and softball. Michael to order.  
    • Field clean up day April 5th 10am-1pm donuts and coffee to be provided
  • Open positions
    • Treasurer - Carmen Crabtree was invited and expressed interest. Also may take over the quickbooks.
    • Fundraising/Sponsors - Nick Tucker. Going through Nick for all sponsors.
    • Equipment Manager
    • Registrar - filter in sports connect and organize each sport for teams requests, communicating as emails come in, helping with everyday communication. Kami Bennett elected
    • New POSA board text thread to be made - intro on name and position

Treasurer: Open Position - Kristen - Carmen Crabtree voted in

  • Bank items - will be updated by next board meeting
  • $10,000 - refs, janitors
    • Baseball/Soccer
    • $2000 to turn in for concessions
    • $3098 - POLL -bats, balls, porta potties/hand washing station (hortons last year) should be up by field clean up day
    • Cusick account to stay separate

  • Little League coaching binders

Chris Whitehouse

  • Basketball - went well. Some issues with some coaches, Selkirk coach cursing out refs. Try not to let that stuff happen in the future. Overall not many complaints. There was a post on Facebook about aggressive players. It's a contact sport. Reffing is handled differently when not here. They want to have a meeting about aggressive playing. Handful of people certified for next year. 1 person at each game that is certified. Priest River also wants to do a ref clinic, get Selkirk on board. Rule book to be made and gone by.
  • Name Redacted got aggressive with refs at a game. 1 statement received. He has an offense from baseball. 1 year from offense - not allowed on premises.

Registrar: Kamille Bennett

  • Baseball/Softball 95 signed up LL 25 more than last year
    • When Cusick is done with registration funds for equipment will be provided. Handle all Cusick through us. Parents were disappointed with how Cusick handled registration.
  • Soccer 139 signed up 60 more than last year- u10/12 high school, u4/u6 same place. Goals 1 functioning. Goals are needed for u10 and u14. Maws & Paws request. Honey can put in the request. Wish list might need to be considered. Meeting Tuesday 3/18 3pm for field use for spring sports.

  • Grants - Maws & Paws - need clear goal of wants/needs. Funds? Equipment? Maws and Paws to be goals. Concession items for tribe grant. Cooler, Microwave, freezer. General funds.
