The Pines is our new club-wide identity for all POSA teams, from our youngest U4 players to our high school athletes. Across soccer, volleyball, baseball, and basketball, the Pines brings everyone under one banner with one look, one message, and one heartbeat.
A new chapter for youth sports in our community
At the 2025 Spring Soccer Awards Night, we introduced something new. Not just to our players and families, but to the entire community.
We unveiled a bold step forward for youth sports in our region: a unified team identity that will carry our athletes across every season, every sport, and every field. The Pend Oreille Pines is more than a name. It is a symbol of who we are and where we are going.
The Pines is our new club-wide identity for all POSA teams, from our youngest U4 players to our high school athletes. Across soccer, volleyball, baseball, and basketball, the Pines brings everyone under one banner with one look, one message, and one heartbeat.
This fall, all players will debut new uniforms featuring the Pines crest. We have designed a clean, modern look rooted in the forested strength of our region and created something our kids can feel proud to wear.
The Pines is also our new competitive club name. Our high school aged soccer team will compete this season in the WISL league as the Pend Oreille Pines, marking a major step forward in giving local players meaningful pathways without having to leave our community to grow.
For too long, our teams have been divided by sport or season. Now, we are creating something bigger, something that grows with our players, builds pride, and represents all of us.
This is about more than jerseys. It is about identity, continuity, and belonging.
When kids grow up Pines, they stay rooted in values that last far beyond the game: teamwork, kindness, and community strength.
The Pines identity will begin rolling out in Fall 2025, starting with new uniforms across all age groups. Players will continue to register through POSA, and our developmental philosophy will remain rooted in age-appropriate training and long-term growth.
We are also raising the bar for coaching. Starting this fall, every head coach in the Pines program will be officially licensed through US Soccer. This ensures our kids are guided by coaches who understand youth development, inclusive practices, and how to support players at every stage. It is a major investment in quality and in the people who shape our athletes the most.
If you were at Awards Night, you felt it. That moment of pride, that glimpse of something bigger. Now, we get to share it with the whole community.
