Hello POSA Families,

The Pines are heading to Spokane for Youth Soccer Night, and this time there is a little friendly competition involved!

Spokane Velocity FC is our region’s professional men’s soccer team. They play their home matches at ONE Spokane Stadium in downtown Spokane, right next to The Podium. On Sunday, September 20, Velocity will take on Athletic Club Boise in a regional matchup beginning at 4:00 PM.

Youth sports organizations from across the region have each been given their own ticket link, and the organization that sells the most tickets wins the Youth Night competition. Every ticket purchased through our link counts toward the Pines total, so let’s see how much green we can put in the stands!

The evening is also an opportunity to connect with other youth sports organizations from around our region. Our teams may compete against one another on the field, but nights like this bring everyone together around the shared work of creating better opportunities and experiences for young athletes.

Our players will get to watch professional soccer up close, experience the energy of a live match, and spend the afternoon with teammates, coaches, friends, and other Pines families. Although the event is called Youth Soccer Night, this invitation is for everyone in POSA. Soccer, basketball, volleyball, and flag football families are all welcome.

POSA will be participating in the larger Youth Night celebration rather than serving as the featured youth club for this particular match. The night will be about coming together as an organization, meeting other youth sports families, supporting professional soccer in our region, and trying to win the ticket competition.
