We are proud to announce that the POSA Pend Oreille Pines have been selected as the Featured Youth Sports Partner for the Spokane Velocity Home Opener on March 15 at 3:00 PM.

For those unfamiliar, the Spokane Velocity are a professional soccer club competing at a high level in our region. In their first two seasons, the Velocity advanced to the league championship match both years, finishing as runners up and quickly establishing themselves as one of the premier teams in the league.

Being invited to serve as the Featured Youth Sports Partner is a meaningful opportunity for our athletes and our community.

A Fundraiser for Youth Athletics

This event is also an important fundraiser for POSA. Every ticket purchased through our designated link directly supports youth sports in Pend Oreille County.

Over the past 18 months, POSA has significantly raised safety standards, improved coaching development, expanded programming, and grown participation across all sports while keeping registration fees among the lowest in the region. Fundraising partnerships like this allow us to continue improving without increasing costs for families.

On Field Experiences for Local Youth

During game day, athletes from our community will take part in a variety of on field experiences. For many of them, this will be their first time stepping onto a professional stage and representing Pend Oreille County in that environment.
