Our 2nd Grade flag football program is designed for young athletes who are still learning the game. Whether your player is brand new or has played before, this division focuses on building confidence, learning basic skills, and having fun in a supportive environment.
At the 2nd grade level, players focus on learning the basics of the game in a fun and encouraging environment. Athletes develop fundamental skills like passing, catching, running, and ball control while being introduced to simple rules and gameplay. Just as important, we help build confidence, encourage participation, and teach what it means to be a great teammate.
Players grow by building confidence and becoming comfortable on the field. Through positive coaching and repetition, they begin to understand the game, develop coordination, and learn how to be part of a team while having fun.
Every POSA program is rooted in age-appropriate play, guided discovery, and positive coaching. We meet kids where they are and help them grow with joy, confidence, and purpose.
