Our 3rd/4th Grade flag football program builds on the fundamentals while introducing more game concepts. Players will continue developing skills, learn positions, and begin to understand teamwork and strategy in a fun, supportive environment.
In 3rd and 4th grade, players begin to build on their fundamentals while gaining a better understanding of the game. Athletes improve their passing and receiving, learn basic routes, and develop defensive skills like positioning and flag pulling. This level also introduces positions, simple plays, and reinforces teamwork, communication, and overall game awareness.
At this level, players grow by gaining confidence in their abilities and starting to understand how the game works. They become more independent on the field, improve their decision-making, and learn how to contribute as part of a team.
Every POSA program is rooted in age-appropriate play, guided discovery, and positive coaching. We meet kids where they are and help them grow with joy, confidence, and purpose.
